Washington, DC Photo Story – Fall 2023

After a week on the Shenandoah National Park REI Adventure, I spent two very quick days seeing all I could in Washington, DC! One of my favorite ways to explore a city is on foot. Over the two days, I covered about 25 miles and saw:

  • White House (outside)
  • Downtown DC
  • The Capital
  • Jefferson Library of Congress
  • National Mall + Monuments
  • The Wharf
  • Union Station
  • Eastern Market area
  • The Holocaust Museum
  • Tidal Basin Monuments
